This summer, you can throw tomatoes, gun with waters guns, throw buckets of wine, are some of the more populars and funny «Battles» that take place on all the spanish geography.  BungalowsClub shows you which are the most surprising ones.

Batalla Naval de Vallekas, Puente de Vallecas, Madrid, 16 of july.

On this knowed Madrid neighborhood, the neighbors get together the 16 of july for a fight where it is impossible to don’t get wet. This summer party, that borns inside the festival of our Señora del Carmen in 1981, it was formed as a form to make more bearable the heat wave that covered the capital thanks to different groups of young people that started to soak up to each other with the ports of irrigation of the boulevard and since then is celebrated each year to make more enjoyable the summer. Also, at just half an hour of Vallecas it’s found the Parque de Atracciones Warner Madrid, so the childrens of the house may take advantage to visit all theirs favorite characters of cinema and television.

Batalla del Clarete. San Asensio, La Rioja, 23 of july.

The land by excellence of the vineyards celebrate during the summer differentes parties where the central theme is the wine and to prepare to the next crop. As a form of devote its cult of the wine, at Clarete (23 of july) are celebrated funny battles that consists of throwing to each other the most wine you can, counting some years with almost 130,000 liters available.Adults and children can enjoy this event and learn about the wonders that saves La Rioja in summer.

Guerra de merengue, San Sebastián, País Vasco, August.

Since 3 years, during the Long Week of San Sebastián, is produced this sweet event. In august, the donostiarras goes out to the street for a battle, of merengue! Divided into categories by the ages and the armed with confectionery sleeves, the final prize is for the persons who get end as clean as possible for the eyes of the jury which will decide. During this important week to San Sebastián are organised different activities and days destinated to all the ages, but also they will have the possibility to enjoy of the near installations as the Kutxa space of the science, where you can learn and experiment playing with the science.

Water Party of Villagarcía de Arosa, Pontevedra, 16 of August.

The 16 of August, in the locality of Vilagarcía of Arousa, the neighbors get armed with buckets of water and the firefighters take their trucks to the Plaza de Galicia to wet to all those who wants to enjoy this original feast. This festivity was created during the procession of the image of San Roque until its chapel, where the pilgrims asked for water to its neighbors but they don’t expected that they would thrown the water on them. But not only on this beauty village are organised this feast: throw a lot of localites of the coast of Galicia, you can find different parties with music in direct and parks to the kids to play.

La Tomatina. Buñol, Valencia, 30 of August.

From 1945, every last wednesday of the month of august get place the original battle that has come to be the protagonist of several international films. And it is that the Tomatina in Buñol, Valencia, that it is celebrated the 30 of august, joins every year to thousands of people for over an hour, where the objective is to pull the greatest possible quantity of tomatoes. There are a lot of rules to make everyone enjoy of the party, but till the last year they have limited the number of persons to 22.000 , counting with the neighbors of the village, that years between year, strive to make it each time more fun. Also, it is one of the parties that attracts more international public, that’s why it has been declared as a Party of International Tourist Destination. But, for the kids also to enjoy of this party, from the town hall they organized the Tomatina for kids the same way as the official.
