Basque Country counts  with 180 km of green routes which goes inside valleys, mountains and villages by viaduct, tunnels and roads that leave us to enjoy of unique views.

The Green Way «Ferrocarril Vasco-Navarro» is the largest of Euskadi. An attractive route of 85 kilometers, between the Arlabán port (between Álava and Gipuzkoa) and locality jacobea de Estella (Navarra). Cross the north of the southwest the province of Álava and get out by the Llanada and the Montaña Alavesa. It is a tranche recovered of the old rail of the train that linked Estella-Lizarra with Vitoria-Gateiz, that stop working in 1967.

From all the charted has been recovered a little part of an output of Estella-Lizarra till Zubielqui (a few 3km), and the tranche between Murieta and Antoñana (Alava) (24 km. aprox.) The charted on this rail is hardly plain, perfect for the cyclists, and apt also for kids. The set is of land combinated with asphalt some parts. According to the zones, there are exclusively reserved parts for walkers and cyclists, and others mix, like saying, sharing with road traffic, although there is no excessive circulation. Some car that goes to the farms of the zone, or farmers that goes to their farms. Also, to the most absent-minded, are informatives panels at the long of the route.

Prepare the bag, we go on a trip!
