The most amazing water jumps of Spain

The jumps to the water from the highs of a river are one of the most beautiful views and awesome that we can see. Also, if you look for peace, the sound of the water falling from the highs is one of the more relaxing. Today we run Spain searching for the most awesome jumps. We leave you a list of the highest waterfalls.

Salto del Nervión:

In the Top 1 of the highest waterfalls of Spain is for the Salto del Nervión, that is found between the provinces of Álava and Burgos. It is situated at more than 200 meters of high and the best moment to enjoy of it, it is at the time of rains and the melting, when more water goes down. And it has as origin the confluence of the Iturrigutxi, Ajiturri and Urita streams, born between the mountains of Gillarte and Gibijo.

Pozo de los Humos:

The ones who have visit them says that it is without doubt one of the most awesome waterfalls of Spain. It is situated at the northwest of the province of Salamanca in the Natural Park of Arribes del duero. The Uces river falls 50 meters creating an unforgettable show to the views.

Cascada Orbaneja del Castillo:

The Ebro river, as his passing through Burgos leaves spectacular view. This waterfall of 25 meters is situated in the locality of Orbaneja del Castillo and has created one of the most beautiful places of Castilla and León. Apart from the spectacular waterfall with capricious forms, in the middle of Orbaneja del Castillo its found La Cueva del Agua, of which causes a flow of water that goes at more than 150 meter of profundity at karst rock cliffs surrounding the edge of the gorge.

This amazing waterfall it’s found at the Paraje Natural of the Cimbarra, in Jaén at a few kilometers of Despeñaperros. La Cimbarra is the word that the locals use to denominate to water jumps, been this one of the most beautiful with 20 meters of fall in the Guarrizas river.

Reventón del Río Mundo:

At the province of Albacete it’s found an exceptional fenom called «reventón» that is not found at any other cave and it is of origin kárstico. It consist of the pressurized exit  of a big amount of water and it is show worthy to watch.

The Valle de Ordesa, ubicated in the Pirineo Central of Huesca, it is declared Heritage of the Humanity by the UNESCO and it is not for less because this glacial valley situated at the southwest of the Macizo del Monte Perdido pass the Arazas river leaving awesome water jumps that mix with the green of the vegetation. In the Circus of the Soaso you can found numerous waterfalls, but the more know is the Cola de Caballo, situated at 1.850 meters of high.

Choose only six waterfalls it hasn´t be easy because in Spain are numerous waterfalls and all of them are awesome to watch. Stay at our cabins and bungalows, prepare the bag and get charm to visit some of them.
