2. Skiing and snowboarding in the mountains: the Sierra Nevada (snowy range in Spanish) is located in the region of Andalucía. It is the second highest mountain range after the Alps and its high peaks make skiing possible. The popular Sierra Nevada mountain resort has 106.8 km of marked slopes and welcome different levels of skiers with the green runs (very easy), blue runs (easy), red runs (difficult) and black runs (very difficult). 4. Spanish gastronomy and wines: La Rioja is a Spanish region located in the upper half of Spain, in the Iberian mountain range. It is famous for its red wine and food culture. It is a beautiful region, with a wealth of fresh produces and traditional Spanish dishes. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes to enjoy.
